Overview: When Valorie “Valentine” Entienne’s father Vincent goes missing, she’s determined to find him alive or avenge his death. Valentine Apart Series

Overview: Before each of Valentine’s friends met her, they each had their own story to tell and their own way of joining the criminal organization known as The Syndicate. This series explores the lives of Allan and Mac Avery, Lola Vencent, Jo Fuentes and Kelly McCormick. Fiction/Humor/Crime Ages 17 and older

Allan and Mac: Allan Avery and his sister Mackenzie “Mac” Avery both work as hit men, and they’re pretty good at their jobs.  What sets them apart from the others, is the unorthodox manner in which they carry out each hit.  But, as good as they are, the Avery’s are about to get in way over their heads.  Meet Allan and Mac here, then see them again in Valentine 3!  Published 4/25/2015    88 pages

Upcoming

As of March 2026, I’m mapping out ideas for a graphic novel series, which will feature Veronica Entienne as the main character, and Jo Fuentes and Mac Avery as supporting characters. The premise involves Veronica, Jo and Mac starting a business working as hitwomen in New Orleans. The first book may not be ready until late 2026.

Valentine Facts

• Valentine’s creation was the result of an accident. While working on an illustration for another book, I made a mistake with the color of the character’s hair, but kept the illustration and later created Valentine.
• Most of Val’s family members have names which begin with V: Val, Veronica, Victor, Vincent and Victoria. They’re all V. Entienne.
• Jo is named after Demi Moore’s character in A Few Good Men.
