I don’t have many pet peeves, but the few that I do have, have validity (at least, I  think so). One of them, is people who don’t know how to hold a conversation without their phone in hand. I work a desk job, which requires verbal communication skills, and the ability to look people in the eye and speak to them. I can do this, with no problem at all. But, the people I need to communicate with, can’t seem to do it. At least seven out of every ten people I see, will walk up to my desk, and ask a question, without ever looking up from their cell phone. Don’t get me wrong, I love my phone too.
