It’s that time of the year, folks: people are scrambling to find perfect gifts for the special people in their lives. Trees are being decorated. Candles are being lit. Everyone is celebrating their holiday in their own special way. For those who celebrate Christmas, Merry Christmas to you and your family. To those who celebrate other holidays, Happy Holidays. And for anyone who has decided not to celebrate anything at all, Happy December.
This is also the time of the year, when we begin making plans for the upcoming New Year. 2019 will be here next week, so it’s time to take stock of 2018. Did you have a good year? Did you accomplish all of the things you set out to accomplish?
I managed to reach most of my goals, which is a first for me. Publish 25 books? No, but I did publish 24, and that’s good enough for me. Move out of NY? Yep, did that! Relaunch Woolaston Entertainment’s online store? Did that, too. Finally upgrade my Microsoft Word program? I didn’t blow $200 on the program, but the app for $6.99 a month is just as useful, so that one is going in the win column. Stop letting my fears hold me back? I’m slowly but surely working through that one. All in all, I’d say 2018 was a good year for me and Woolaston Entertainment.
I hope all of my fellow writers, authors, artists, and creatives had a wonderful year, and I hope 2019 brings you everything you’re looking for. This will be my final Monday Blog. But, don’t worry: I’m not going to stop blogging. Instead of a Monday Blog, it’s just going to be a Blog. My goal is to post at least three times per week. We’ll see how that goes.
Happy Holidays, Best Wishes, and Happy New Year to all of you! 🙂
