Greetings, everyone! Happy National Punctuation Day! The day when we celebrate the period, the comma, the colon, and all of the other punctuation marks. While I hope everyone uses these marks correctly all year ’round, today is the day when we pay the closest attention to their correct usage.

National Punctuation Day was founded in 2004 by Jeff Rubin, as a way to promote the correct usage of the English language.  BTW: I hope the good people who post articles on MSN’s website will honor this day, since I read at least one post on their site per day in need of some punctualtional attention (the end in “end zone” only has one e, ladies and gents who post NFL articles!).
