Some of the Best in Black Literature

There are thousands of excellent books published by Black authors. If you search the internet for a list, the results will be endless. Hundreds of sites and bloggers have compiled lists of their own. I recently found one on Reedsy that has a nice variety of published titles. What makes this particular list special, is the fact it contains a list of books from 1923 through 2018. In honor of Black History Month, I have posted a link to the site, along with a few books from the list. For their complete list, I recommend visiting their site.

  2. I’m very happy to see more Black authors writing Science Fiction and Fantasy. When I was in middle school and high school, I started reading sci-fi and all the authors and characters were white. This is a genre that needs more diversity! 🙂
