Spring is in the air, and a new month is upon us. I intend to make April one of my most productive months yet, by working on three books at once. Yes, three: one that I’ve been working on since forever, one that I’ve been meaning to start since forever, and one that I just needed to get started.
Barrin Heights
Yes, Barrin Heights is still haunting me, but in a good way. The good thing is, with other projects out of the way, I have more time to devote to this one. I have resumed working on the draft, and I’ve managed to make it to Chapter 12, and I have skipped ahead and written Chapter 25 (just because I finally know what direction I want this story to take).
Louder! (Our Lady of Righteous Rage #6)
I’ve had ideas for this one floating around inside my head for months now, and it was finally time to commit them to paper. Louder! will pick up where Forward Motion left off, and OLORR fans will get to see their favorite characters in a new light. And there will be some edibles…

Valentine R: Book Two
A lot happened in Valentine R: Book One. Relationships were tested and possibly destroyed. Old friends got togethers, and new alliances may have formed. And Kelly McCormick proved to be 100% That Bitch. What will happen in Book Two? Well, here’s a small hint without too much of a spoiler: betrayal comes with a price, and it’s a heavy one.
How am I working on three books at once? Simple: I’m writing all three drafts in separate sections of a notebook. Handwriting a book has always come naturally for me, and I write faster than I type (even as I type this blog entry you wouldn’t believe how many times I needed to hit the backspace button). Plus I don’t always have access to a computer when I’m in the mood to write, so keeping everything in a notebook just makes sense.
Which book will be completed first? It’s hard to say right now, but I should have something new for you to read by June.
Keep reading and writing, everyone.
