Greetings, folks. It’s Thursday, or as I like to call it: Friday Eve. We’re so close to the weekend, I can practically taste it (okay, not really, I mean you can’t taste the weekend anymore than people who eat Skittles can taste the rainbow). I will be happy to see Friday evening arrive, so I can get my weekend started.
I’m writing today because I wanted to share a book I’m currently reading. You Should Have Been Nicer To My Mom by Vincent Tirado is a little gem that came across my desk at an unusual time. Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of my Grandfather’s death, and this particular book is about the death of a grandfather and a young woman having to face her family at the reading of his Will. The other family members were never particularly nice to the young woman’s mother, and these are issues I can relate to one hundred percent. I just started reading it yesterday and I’m already on the third chapter. So far, it’s REALLY GOOD.
I’ll talk more about it after I finish it. By the way: its a Gothic Horror story, so I have a feeling its going to be extra special. I’ll keep you posted.
