Hello, everyone. Today is a solemn day. Twenty-five years ago America came under attack. Today marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of 9/11. While I am thankful I didn’t lose anyone in the attacks, I do know two people who were affected. I have a cousin who is now a retired New York State Trooper, who did go down to Ground Zero to help search for people and is currently sick. A friend of my mother was a secretary at the Pentagon and was at work when that building was struck. She’s okay today.
If you can, take a moment to remember those we lost and those who have been effected. Just a moment of silence. This is difficult for every American but speaking as a New Yorker, it really hits hard. Try to have a good day, everyone.
