The primary books follow Amy Edwards and company as they grow up, start a band and a business, deal with the pitfalls of adulthood, and the occasional back-stabbing from former friends. The companion books get a little more personal by either providing a back story for specific characters, or by expanding on a specific time frame or event. So far, Erin Michaels, Dee Seybrook and Jon Sarconi have led the way with companion books of their own. But my main character has never had a stand-alone companion book, and I thought it was finally time.

In the upcoming Rock N Role Model, Amy meets a young fan and discovers the two of them share a very special connection; one that will have Amy rethinking her role as a role model, especially for all of the young girls who follow her. Amy is going to discover just how important being a role model is, and she’s going to work even harder to make sure all of her young female fans, know they can accomplish anything.

Behind the song writing and the music, this story is going to be about family. Readers will learn more about Amy’s immediate family: her mother Donna, sister Lana and brothers D.R. and Richard. This book will be a bridge between Righteous and the upcoming Rise Resist Reform, so stay tuned!
