So what does a young man do after he saves the world?
Written in October of 2002 (21st anniversary!), that’s the question the fourth unpublished book in the Fortune’s Wing series tries to answer. This book is slightly different from the other books in the series. 1) Fortune is the narrator and 2) there’s no fighting in this one. Fortune reflects on using the power of the Wings and describes his relationships with his sister Haverdy and their friends through a series of memories. He talks about how he met each of them and shares amusing facts (for example, Esrieve, who seems air-headed, is actually a genius at Algebra). Plus, there is some swearing in this story.
Fortune and his friends begin another year of high school. Some of them begin to deal with personal issues. Haverdy wants to be accepted by her judgmental mother. Tony may have feelings for Haverdy, and Ringo may have feelings for Narumi (Niro in this version). The teenagers work through their emotions and in the end Fortune says he has a feeling they’re “going to be okay”.
I’m thinking about publishing this fourth book on the Woolaston Entertainment Patreon Page. Of course, I’ll publish books two and three in the series first. But, we’re not done. There is a spinoff…
