A new year is upon us, and I’m sure many of you have probably made New Years Resolutions. I stopped doing that a long time ago. I find it generally leads to disappointment. You resolve to lose weight, and when you don’t you feel bad.. You tell yourself you’re going to save more money, then things pop up in your life that require spending more money. A resolution is a statement of what you want to change. A goal is a statement of what you want to achieve; the steps you need to take to achieve it; and when you want to achieve it by. To me, goals are more realistic than resolutions.
So, what are my goals for 2024? What do I want to achieve? Last year my only goal was to publish 1 book for every year of my life, making my total number of titles 41, and I accomplished that goal with Valentine R: Book One. This year I have more than one goal, but I’m pretty sure I can achieve all of them. Some are personal, but I will share my writing goals here.

Yes, yes, the urban horror story I began writing several years ago remains unfinished. But, my goal is to finish it and publish it this year. Do I think I can do it? Absolutely. Afterall, it’s half-way done. All of the other projects I wanted to finish and get out of the way have been completed, so I can finally focus on Barrin Heights and get it done. My deadline is late Spring.
I have planned two more books for the Valentine R series. My goal for this series is to complete it by the end of the year. Since there will only be two more books, this goal shouldn’t be difficult to achieve.

Oh, I have plans for this series. I finally got both of my electric guitars out of storage and I’ve even begun songwriting again. Green Day, my favorite band, is releasing a new album (Saviors) and it’s given me some much needed inspiration. So, keep an eye out for Our Lady‘s sixth book, Louder!
I’m ready to expand the Woolaston Entertainment Stationery Collection. So far it’s been journals only. I’m going to add more merchandise to the collection: pens, cards, envelopes, etc. I recently added three new journals, and other merch should be ready by Summer.
