Hello everyone! I just wanted to share a book I’m currently reading. This book came across my desk while I was at work and I just knew I needed to read it. It’s Positive Obsession: The Life and Times of Octavia E. Butler by Susana M. Morris. One of my favorite Octavia Butler books is Kindred and it served as my introduction into the world of science fiction writing. I’m only on the first chapter, but I will post a review of my thoughts once I’m finished. A black author reading a book abut a black author written by a black author…I believe that’s a trifecta. 🙂
