Hello! I’ve been away for a few days for a number of reasons. Mother’s Day just passed and Mom and I spent nearly a week celebrating (lunch and quality time). I’m working on a few books, and I’m reading a few books. I’m nearly finished with You Should Have Been Nicer To My Mom and I can’t wait to post a review about it. Work has been very busy. When I don’t have too much to share, I prefer not to bog any of you down with useless details. I know lots of writers like to post everyday, even if it means just mentioning they went for a walk and bought a cup of coffee. That’s just not my style. But, I am writing today because I do have something awesome to share.

Barrin Heights had two sales within 30 days.

Now, to some, that’s nothing. To me, its something. For a nobody like me to sell two copies of a book via Amazon, it means something. To receive positive feedback from someone who read the book, that’s really something. An ebook and a hardcover…wow! The ebook was purchased and read by a fellow library employee (thanks Sue!). The hardcover was ordered by the public library I work for (thank you Rita!). This means a copy of Barrin Heights is joining the Hampton Public Library collection. If you’re a member of the HPL, you’ll be able to borrow it by some time next week.

That’s something.
