Hello good readers! Happy Monday to you. I hope you enjoyed this past Fourth of July weekend. I didn’t go out to see fireworks because my neighbors were kind enough (or unkind enough) to bring them to me! All night long! Anyway, I did make time to watch Independence Day, just because. It was waaayyyyyyy too hot to be out for too long, so I briefly stepped out to run a few errands and quickly went home.
The proof copy of I’m Sorry For the Things I Said While I Was High: Stories & Advice arrived in the mail. It’s a little battered up, but thankfully it’s a proof copy, so it’s fine. I’m going to make time to read it between today and tomorrow so I can release it on July 21.
Lastly, the Hampton Public Library’s Main location is open again, as of today! There have been a couple of events throughout the day, mostly in the Children’s Department, and tons of people have been in and out all day. Someone told me one of our local news stations (WTKR, which is channel 3) sent someone here so I’ll keep an eye on the news this evening. I have updated the writing worksheets for the Writer’s Resources, so if you’re in the area please feel free to grab a packet. I will update the PDF versions on the writing blog sometime this week.
Have a great week, everyone!
